Job Description
As part of the European People team, the Learning Content Specialist will administer and manage the learning curriculum and development life cycle, from Training Needs Analysis through to the evaluation.
Administration
Governance: Arrangement of quarterly Capability Lead review meetings, preparing documentation and tracking actions. Maintaining the content development pipeline documents and tracker.
Assessment and evaluation: Developing assessments, quizzes, and other evaluation methods to gauge learner understanding and measure the effectiveness of the content. Analysing feedback and data to make improvements to future iterations.
Support for annual PD (Professional Development) scheduling across Europe
Programme management
Overall Programme management of the Europe Learning Curriculum, including:
Non instructional learning: Creating engaging and informative materials such as online courses, Peer Learning campaigns, or written guides to support learning objectives.
Content editing and review: Reviewing and editing existing contents for clarity, coherence, and consistency.
New content development: Collaborating with subject matter experts to design and structure comprehensive learning modules that align with new organisational/Sector goals and learner needs. This will include:
Researching and analysing: Conducting research on relevant topics, learning methodologies, and emerging trends externally and with internal Subject Matter Experts, to ensure the content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of the target audience.
Multimedia/Engagement integration: Incorporating multimedia elements like graphics, images, audio, video, polls, and digital tools to enhance the learning experience, acknowledge different learning styles and make the content more engaging and interactive.
Continuous improvement: Staying updated with industry best practices, educational technologies, and emerging tools to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the learning materials.
Essential Requirements
Experience in an L&D or People related role
Knowledge and experience of current Learning and Development practices - Training needs Analysis, Instructional Design Methodologies, Blended Learning Solutions, or a strong willingness to learn
Experience of co-ordinating multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must have fluency in English)
Evidence of a collaborative working style - recognises the value and responsibility of working in a team and seeks to maintain and build effective relationships both internally and externally
Ability to deal effectively with change and ambiguity
Enthusiastic and dedicated, passion for seeking opportunities and self-development
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong Microsoft skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desirable
Professional services experience
Experience with developing a broad range of learning solutions from both a content (Sales, Personal Development, Leadership Development etc) and medium (Classroom based, Virtual, Web Based) perspective would be an advantage
Experience or familiarity with using online learning tools such as EasyGenerator, Captivate and Articulate, while not essential, could prove useful
German, French or Spanish Language (C1/2)
