Overview

The Head of Recruiting will be responsible for the management of the recruiting function for L.E.K.’s London office (‘L.E.K.’). The position is based in London and reports to London’s Head of HR.

 

Responsibilities

Develop and implement L.E.K.’s recruiting strategy in order to create a positive candidate experience, attract top talent and achieve hiring goals:

  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to inform the firm’s recruiting strategy, specifically for the undergraduate, PhD, MBA and industry hire recruiting programmes
  • Raise L.E.K.’s profile by building strong relationships with key actors of the recruitment market including major universities, head hunters and experienced candidates
  • Manage the London recruiting team, including hiring, training and development; lead the team to deliver exceptional service and attain hiring goals
  • Leverage best practices and tools in order to increase the effectiveness of our recruiting programmes
  • Review the development of all recruiting materials, including job descriptions, company presentations, interview guidelines, and marketing collateral
  • Oversee and contribute directly as needed to the full life cycle of recruitment activity from sourcing, assessment, offer extension through to offer conversion
  • Establish and maintain relationships with recruiting leads and counterparts in L.E.K.’s other offices
  • Serve as liaison between the recruiting team, senior leadership and other functional leaders
  • Track and report upon key hiring performance metrics to measure ongoing success
  • Manage recruiting financial plans and budgets

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate may have a background either: in a consultant role within a professional services environment (such as strategy or management consultancy) with experience of / direct involvement in recruiting as part of their managerial responsibilities; or in a dedicated recruitment role in a similar environment.

We would welcome applications from candidates who have had a career break and would consider structuring the role to create flexibility, for example in terms of longer than standard vacation periods outside of recruitment campaigns and / or one day per week home working.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.
