Job Description

Our People Strategy and Analytics team are responsible for developing our internal approach to People projects and change management. The People Analytics Specialist will provide support to the Head of Strategy and Change to develop reports and analytical tools that enable the organisation to make fact-based decisions and effectively manage our People strategy and organisational goals.

You will have support from the firm’s European Data & Analytics team whose primary role is in supporting project teams in solving a range of analytical problems, enabling L.E.K. to provide clients with the best possible advice. Support will include coaching / training, guidance on analytical approaches and techniques, visualisation etc. as well as access to a broader analytics community.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop ongoing operational and strategic analytics.
  • Own and automate internal and external data collection processes and associated reports.
  • Point of contact and subject matter expert for ad hoc people data and analytics requests.
  • Ensure best practices are followed for data capture and tracking.
  • Identify data capture and analytics efficiency improvements as the firm scales and grows and collaborate with teams to implement.
  • Design and service Tableau dashboards and other tools for visualizing data; support functional teams in usage.
  • Execute analysis across a range of people-related activities (recruiting, capacity planning, talent development, wellbeing, leavers) as well as strategic initiatives related to People within Europe.
  • Frame key issues, design analytic approaches and execute analysis.
  • Communicate insights and implications to key stakeholders.
  • Support People dataset development for near-term needs (e.g., create and maintain a dataset that can be leveraged across various use cases) and help build out a more robust long-term system. 

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in an analytical role (HR experience preferred), demonstrating good analytical skills, with the ability to use a variety of data tools, programmes, and sources to extract, blend and visualise data for different audiences ranging from the top-level leadership teams to managers and support areas.
  • Proficient with visualization / development tools such as Tableau and Alteryx.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • Ability to manage your own time and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is a must. Only applications in English will be taken under consideration.

Desirable

  • Professional services experience
  • Experience in using, updating, and reporting from an HRIS system
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, R, Python etc.
  • Understanding of compensation & benefits / job benchmarking methodologies (e.g., Korn Ferry, Mercer)
  • German, French or Spanish language (C1/2)
