The Organisation & Performance (O&P) practice supports our corporate and Private Equity clients with diagnostic, transformation and delivery issues in the areas of:

Consultant Role

The Consultant role is at the core of our project team structure. Using their creative problem-solving and managerial skills, Consultants at L.E.K. lead our project teams to provide clients insights with impact, making a difference by driving our teams to deliver actionable advice and strategies to help our clients win.  Consultants at L.E.K. are responsible for managing teams through leadership and mentorship and are on point to ensure the team is addressing client problems and delivering an answer.

Responsibilities

  • Breaking down and outlining the client’s key strategic, operational, and organisational issues
  • Designing and executing appropriate methodologies / frameworks, overseeing deployment of critical tools (e.g., programme management tools) and guiding of critical analysis
  • Designing and supervising the team’s core tasks and analyses day-to-day
  • Developing presentation and other deliverable structures
  • Providing guidance and support to client working teams
  • Understand the critical issues affecting the client and communicate key insights and recommendations based upon the project team’s research and analysis
  • Participating in the communication of project conclusions to client senior management
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to more junior staff
  • Helping to further build the O&P practice at L.E.K. on a pan-European basis

Requirements for the role

  • Experience (3+ years, preferably in another leading top management consultancy) in a range of the core O&P capabilities: value creation (top and bottom line), organisation design; commercial excellence; post-merger integration; carve-outs; performance improvement; and/or programme / change management
  • Superior analytical skills combined with demonstrated expertise in consulting approaches
  • Strong project management skills including work planning, presentation development, quality control, and client management
  • Fluency in German and English is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative and intellectually curious, able to quickly assess a situation and generate new insights and actionable ideas
