Are you a writer who is both creative and analytical? Are you naturally inclined to ask the “how” and “why” ― not just the “what”? Reporting to L.E.K.’s Head of U.S. Marketing in the firm’s Boston office, the Content Marketing Writer will be an integral member of the marketing team, while also working closely with subject matter experts across various industry practices including but not limited to the Industrials, Consumer and Media & Entertainment practices, to create a broad range of thought leadership and marketing content. Critical to this role is the ability and versatility to develop long- and short-form content in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Collaborate with the firm’s Head of U.S. Marketing and Managing Directors to research, develop and write white papers and other proprietary thought leadership
  • Write and edit a wide variety of other marketing content, including web and promotional email copy, blog posts, social media, bylined articles, award entries, speaker submission abstracts and infographics
  • Manage production of white papers and other marketing content, including working with outside designers on print and digital layout and facilitating proofreading and overall quality control of final product.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members on promotional content to support the firm’s content distribution strategy across multiple channels, including email, social media, paid media, and web copy
  • Manage content projects from inception to completion
  • Provide other general marketing program management support as requested

 

 Qualifications:

  •  5-7 years relevant work experience; preferably in a professional services environment; experience in Industrials and Consumer sectors a plus
  • Strong research, writing, editing and proofreading skills, especially in thought leadership and digital formats
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Deep knowledge of digital content channels and experience in creating, adapting and unifying content for multiple channels
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with and advising senior executives and other team members
  • Ability to understand and translate complex concepts into clear, concise communications
  • Critical thinker, creative problem solver and attention to detail and quality
  • Bachelor’s degree required
