Contracts Administrator

The Contracts Administrator will be a member of the L.E.K. in house legal team and play a key role to provide contract services to our internal and external clients. The Contracts Administrator will report directly to the Group General Counsel and be primarily responsible for drafting, editing, negotiating and managing access agreements and engagement letters and assist in managing our transactions database.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate, and finalize access agreements.
  • Assist with drafting agreements, including access agreements, confidentiality agreements, and letters of engagement.
  • Manage database of PE agreements.
  • Assist with managing our transactions database and ethical walls.
  • Review any client requested revisions to access agreements and advise internal team regarding such requested modifications.
  • Manage quality control on private equity agreements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a renowned school with outstanding academic achievement
  • 1+ years of professional experience, ideally in a law firm setting
  • Experience with contracts management preferred
  • Detail oriented with excellent judgment, being able to partner with our clients to reach mutually agreed upon solutions
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, appropriately escalating issues when needed
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team based environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, incorporating good organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver a the maximum business value
