The Staffing Assistant will work in collaboration with the U.S. staffing team to support the internal and external client engagement staffing process for the 6 U.S. based offices. This position exists within the HR group and will report directly to the U.S. Staffing Manager, working to ensure the best possible project staffing and utilization of consulting staff while striving for excellence with a commitment to deliver quality service. This person will interact will all levels of the Firm including senior management.

 Responsibilities:

  • Support in assigning staff to projects, proposals and other client development needs
  • Planning, requesting and monitoring consulting staff availability
  • Support with staffing analyses, utilization reports and forecasts
  • Manage staffing information in relevant systems / tools
  • Tracking of career progression of consulting staff
  • Tracking and reporting of consulting staff skills and industry experience
  • Prepare utilization trends report and forecasts for leadership
  • Support international swap program for consulting staff
  • Participate in performance management/career development meetings to better understand consultants individual development needs and strengths
  • Special projects to support and enhance the staffing process
  • Other HR related tasks as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and 1-2 years in a business setting
  • Experience in professional services firm preferred
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Superior customer service skills/approach
  • The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Energy, enthusiasm and drive to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, incorporating good organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver maximum business value
