CRM Administrator

The CRM Administrator will manage the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) efforts, supporting the firm’s U.S. sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer and working with the Business Development (BD) team, the CRM Administrator will be responsible for data management as well as business analysis and reporting. They will work closely with the BD team to gather additional requirements, help define processes and standards, train users and maintain data integrity. The CRM Administrator will build strong internal relationships with the firm’s business development, marketing and administrative teams, as well as work with the firm’s Managing Directors, in order to define and implement best practices for CRM processes.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The CRM Administrator is the day-to-day owner of the CRM and serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce CRM environment with 370+ users, including:

  • CRM data upkeep
    • Manage the database, including making ongoing data updates and defining data integrity and upkeep rules
    • Define and oversee database update processes
    • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
    • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
    • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations

  • Business Analysis
    • Design and produce custom reports and Dashboards, based on inputs from the Managing Directors and business development teams
    • Run regular monthly sales reports and help optimize reporting
    • Make recommendations to ensure usage standards for consistent reporting
  • Training
    • Conduct training for the CRM system to the Managing Director and Business Development Manager users, both in formal training sessions and informal learning opportunities with end users
    • Train end users to become self-sufficient with data management and reporting
    • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skillset across the organization
    • Work with LEK institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Manage System Enhancements
    • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
    • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Direct experience administering a CRM system, ideally in a professional services or financial services firm
• Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment is a plus
• Strong technology competency, as well as understanding of business and marketing requirements and processes
• The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, and have highly developed project management skills, including experience with communicating cross-functionally with executives
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and analyze data
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
