Knowledge Manager:

The Knowledge Manager plays a key role in supporting L.E.K’s ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Knowledge Management (KM) is critical to capture the best of our consulting staff’s individual and collective expertise and to make it available to the broader firm. The IP Manager will drive the strategy, processes, content and technology relating to IP development across various sectors including but not limited to Life Science/MedTech, Digital, Consumer, Healthcare and Industrials, which will have a direct impact on the sales, marketing and delivery capability of the firm. In addition, they will liaise closely with the sector and service line-based Managing Directors and Practice Specialists, who utilize the assembled intellectual property (IP) for the benefit of their practice groups.


Responsibilities

  • Works across sectors to identify, prioritize, create, and capture critical IP to support case
  • Execution and sales and marketing activity
  • Assists in the development of and supports each sector’s IP content strategy
  • Identifies and captures IP from casework and client development efforts to L.E.K.’s internal
  • Information sharing platform (LINK) including but not limited to industry insights, proprietary methodologies, benchmarking tools, proposals, best practice case tools, and other sector-specific IP
  • Collaborate with sector specialist and case teams to more effectively codify and share best IP content by developing best practice Community of Practice pages on LINK
  • Manage and coordinate a team of Knowledge Management specialists to consistently identify, capture and codify across all L.E.K. sectors in the Americas
  • Acts as a champion for KM and promote continued enhancements in process, content, and IP best practices across the firm
  • Creates and package content and insights in a manner consistent with L.E.K.’s standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required     
  • Experience in strategy consulting preferred
  • Strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and to the requisite level of quality, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills
  • The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Energy, enthusiasm anddrive to create a positive working relationship with the business and the team     
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, showing understanding of different cultures to achieve global business objectives
  • Ability to multi-task,  incorporating good organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver the maximum business value
  • Ability to build strong networks across the business to develop sponsorship at all levels of the business
  • Proven technical awareness and commercial astuteness
