Media, Entertainment and Technology Practice Specialist

Job Description Summary

L.E.K. Consulting, a global management consulting firm, is seeking a Media, Entertainment and Technology Practice Specialist to support the Digital Sector (Media, Entertainment, and Technology). The Practice Specialist will work with the Digital Sector Managing Directors to support the development and growth of the practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Support consulting staff case teams with cataloged best practice materials and additional kick-off frameworks
  • Support in managing Digital  Practice knowledge management initiatives, including enhancing and managing systems to capture, categorize and share knowledge throughout the   firm
  • Track key thought leadership, marketing, and practice initiatives
  • Support in preparing reports /  materials for sector planning sessions
  • Support client development efforts, including but not limited to the development of pitch packs and proposals
  • Develop and maintain the library of case examples across the various types of sector work
  • Develop marketing materials that  highlight the firm’s relevant skills and experience
  • Validate IP contribution from closed cases, and help create postings of key IP to public website
  • Maintain the Community of Practice portal
  • Support initiatives to enhance  the competitive positioning of L.E.K.’s Digital practice
  • Encourage and support actions of  other L.E.K. staff

Required Skills

  • An undergraduate degree is required
  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience; experience in a professional services environment is a plus
  • Experience in media / tech industries
  • Proven understanding of business  concepts and their practical applications
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and activities at once and flexibility to re-prioritize
  • Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Location: Los Angeles or San Francisco
