Reporting to the Director of Marketing in the firm’s Boston office, the Marketing Operations Specialist is an integral part of the L.E.K. marketing team, responsible for developing, executing, tracking and reporting on digital marketing campaigns, using HubSpot’s marketing automation platform. This role will collaborate with members of the marketing team and other internal stakeholder groups to use these campaigns to build brand awareness of L.E.K., develop and strengthen client relationships, by distributing thought leadership and related marketing content.

The ideal candidate will not only be able to manage and execute content marketing campaigns by leveraging corporate communication channels such as social media and email, but also have an aptitude and interest in analyzing campaign effectiveness using HubSpot and other digital marketing tools and metrics. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the team’s HubSpot expert, working with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders to deliver highly effective marketing campaigns
  • Manage all aspects of email marketing campaigns for the Americas region, including development (design and formatting), campaign set-up in HubSpot, CTAs, list implementation, A/B testing and post-campaign analysis and reporting
  • Manage and execute the firm’s social media posting calendar, including writing and scheduling posts to L.E.K.’s corporate Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, and be involved in defining strategies to drive engagement and increase following for all corporate channels.
  • Incorporate industry best practices for the HubSpot suite of tools by actively exploring and implementing new features, functionality releases, workflows, personalization and segmentation
  • Create and maintain marketing metrics dashboards that track marketing effectiveness
  • Support the global corporate website in a variety of ways, including by managing inbound business inquiries and HubSpot integration with the website and campaign microsites
  • Coordinate with other internal stakeholders on marketing campaigns, including Europe marketing counterparts and L.E.K.’s IT team for the integration of HubSpot with CRM platforms
  • Provide support for other marketing initiatives and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years’ experience executing and managing email, social media and other marketing campaigns using a major marketing automation system. Experience working in a professional services or other B2B organization is preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of a marketing automation platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Extensive understanding of email marketing concepts, best practices and metrics
  • Proficient with managing corporate social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Exceptional analytical and technical skills, with a passion for marketing campaign analytics
  • High energy self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate effectively with team colleagues
  • Quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills with strong drive for results
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • CRM system, HTML, CMS and Google Analytics experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
