Position Overview:

The SEA HR Assistant will collaborate with and support the SEA Talent team to ensure our people processes – including recruiting, allocations, training, performance reviews, and HR operations – run smoothly, effectively, and efficiently.

This position will be in L.E.K.’s Mumbai office.

 

Key Relationships:

  • Directly reports to: SEA Talent Manager, Staffing Manager
  • Dotted line: SEA Head of Talent
  • Additional reporting relationships: SEA partners and staff, who are located across the Singapore and Mumbai office locations

 

Major Responsibilities:

The major responsibilities of the HR Assistant role will focus upon, but may not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Allocations support

-        Provide support on SAP and ensure it is up to date with the latest allocation

-        Support SEA Staffing Manager with coordination as and when necessary

  • Performance review evaluation support

-        Case reviews: administer the case review process to ensure all case reviews are triggered and completed within 1 week of case ending

-        Summary reviews: administer the summary review process to ensure all case reviews are delivered prior to the summary review round table; organise summary review meetings

-        Support with scheduling of roundtables as well as review delivery meetings

-        Preparation of compensation letters

  • Talent lifecycle support

-        Maintain the LEK HR system (SeLEK.t HR) and ensure it is up to date with the hiring’s and people movements

-        Recruiting – interview process: assist in scheduling interviews for all potential candidates; ensure all branding material is prepared ahead of campus recruitment and for interview day (e.g. Interviewer profiles)

-        New employees: Preparation of offer letters for all new employees; ensure new employees are properly set up and high data integrity our systems (e.g., SelektHR, SAP)

-        Resignations: manage the resignation process (e.g., returning of passes, deactivation of benefits, schedule exit interview)

  • Operational support

-        Manage all insurance-related issues for employees (e.g. claims, initial sign-up, etc.)

-        AMEX enrolment

-        Organisation and scheduling of all key Talent events (e.g. training sessions)

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a face-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and possessing the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the team
  • A passion to learn and excel
  • A high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive team player

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management
  • Basic understanding of concepts of Human Resource Management
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment, with experience at a consulting/ advisory firm preferred but not necessary
  • Track record of effectively collaborating with others
  • Effective written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity and experience with Excel
