What is the Summer Associate Program?

This opportunity is for a paid internship that is typically 2-3 months in duration and will begin in May 2023. Internships are targeted towards students within 1 year of graduating from their degree program. Full-time Associate offers may be extended to top-performing interns.

What will you do as a Summer Associate?

The role of the Summer Associate is essentially the same as the role of a fulltime Associate. The Summer Associate is responsible for the basic research and analysis upon which each client engagement is based. Specific responsibilities include:

• Gathering primary data on markets, competitors and customers through database and internet searches, market research and other commercial reports, internal client data, and telephone and in-person interviews.
• Developing detailed strategic and financial analysis, which will be utilized to determine the recommendation. Examples include: developing a spreadsheet model of market sizes and competitor profitability analysis.
• Working with the case team to derive insights, conclusions and recommendations based on the analyses.   A Summer Associate must transform what he or she has learned into a valuable and integral element of the client’s strategic direction.
• Summer Associate will also be actively involved in supporting the client development activities of Partners, through research, analysis and creation of presentation materials.

Who are you?

You are a student studying locally or abroad in your penultimate year of University.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Fluency in another ASEAN language is preferred, but not essential.

Please note that in order to be considered for this position, candidates must be legally eligible to work in the Singapore on a permanent basis or via the MOM Work Holiday Programme.
