Associate (Tokyo/Asia Health Care)

Position and Team Overview 

L.E.K.’s Asia Healthcare Practice advises some of the most prominent organisations across the region, including major multinationals with headquarters and/or significant operations in Asia. Our Partner team has extensive experience across the Healthcare / Life Sciences economy, including in LS / Biotech, MedTech and Healthcare Services. 

This role is expected to be collaborating and effectively working on Asia Healthcare consulting projects across Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore offices to help support them on key deliverables. 

Overview of Role 

Associates play a crucial role on each project team, gathering, analyzing and synthesizing information regarding all aspects of businesses. They uncover novel information and undertake rigorous analysis that creates breakthrough insights and make lasting impacts on our clients. 

Specific Responsibilities 

• Assist with and conduct primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, and customers
• Assist with and perform rigorous strategic and financial analyses to identify appropriate and practical recommendations for clients  
• Collaborate with team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on the data and analysis  
• Synthesize information into thoughtful insights regarding the client’s strategic direction   

Candidate Requirements 

• University graduates with Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic achievemen
• Capable of critical thinking, enjoy problem solving, and possess strong curiosity for new knowledge 

• Efficient and good at time management 

• Fluent or Native level proficiency in English and Japanese
