The Role

In order to support this growth, we are looking for a Talent Business Partner who has a penchant for recruitment and implementing innovative approaches to attracting the best talent. Reporting to the Head of Talent and working closely with the Melbourne and Sydney Office Head Partners, you will drive and implement recruitment and operational processes. The role is multi-faceted and suits someone who embraces change, has an appetite to learn and wants experience within a high performing team.

What you’ll do:

Recruitment

  • Owning and managing all recruitment nationally including: campus recruitment, all roles up to and including Consultants and Core Services;
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Business schools and Universities through club sponsorship and events;
  • Managing the on-boarding and induction process for all new starters;
  • Consistently suggest and implement process improvements; and
  • Working closely with other L.E.K offices on global recruiting initiatives.

Generalist Human Resources Activities

  • Being the main Talent contact for our Melbourne Office to manage all people related matters including but not limited to employee life cycle activities, employee relations and performance management;
  • Supporting the Sydney Talent Business Partner with Professional Development activities;
  • Leading and implementing HR projects, for example diversity and inclusion initiatives; and
  • Consistently reviewing and updating policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience within a professional services or progressive corporate environment;
  • A relevant degree;
  • Proven experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment process at all levels including graduates;
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and business writing capabilities;
  • Comfortability with change;
  • An appetite to learn; and
  • Finely tuned communication and interpersonal skills.
