The ideal candidate

We are currently hiring interns for our Paris office (end-of-study internship or 2nd half of a full-year internship). We are looking for motivated, creative and persevering applicants, with strong analytical skills, a fully developed quantitative mind and able to work in team. Being fluent in both English and French is required. Moreover, mastering of another European language is an additional asset.

A first experience in a merchant bank, consulting firm, investment fund, strategic marketing or inside the strategic direction of a major international group will be appreciated.

 

The Intern Role

 

L.E.K.’s Intern role offers exposure to multiple industry sectors and a wide variety of commercial challenges. The nature and pace of L.E.K.’s strategic work facilitates the rapid development of a highly analytical skill-set, which is underpinned by a structured training program. Together, these elements provide exceptional preparation for any future opportunity in graduate school, industry, non-profit organizations or investment firms.

Interns are responsible for the comprehensive research and analysis that form the basis of each engagement. Under the guidance of senior team members, Interns collect data on markets, competitors and customers, and perform the first stage of in-depth strategic and financial analysis. This enables the team as a whole to evaluate trends, develop conclusions, and prepare practical recommendations.

 

 

Recruiting process 

After a first selection based on your documents (Resume + Cover letter), the applicants will be evaluated during three rounds of personal interviews. The evaluation is based on the applicant’s profile, its motivation and on its capability to handle a strategic case study. We commit ourselves to answer to you within two-three weeks after the reception of your application.
